OFF-CAMPUS STUDY OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
Geology in New Zealand. On this OCS program I made new friends and discovered new interests.
 
INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
Working as an intern in the Carleton College Biology Department, I studied the effects of regenerative agricultural practices on soil quality and respiration in hazelnut and poultry systems. This gave me a taste of what a career as a researcher could look like and provided valuable experience with hands-on learning approaches on various topics.
