OFF-CAMPUS STUDY OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
German Studies in Austria. While abroad, I was able to immerse myself in a new culture, and put the German I had learned at Carleton to use in the real world. German is a passion of mine and I enjoyed the opportunity to make big strides towards fluency.
INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
Internship at Close Concerns, a healthcare information company focused on diabetes, pre-diabetes, and obesity, dedicated to improving patient outcomes. As a summer associate at Close Concerns, I gained hands-on experience in the world of healthcare and business, learning about the newest development in the diabetes field right at home in San Francisco and in Orlando, where I attended the American Diabetes Association's 84th Scientific Sessions.
