The 2019-20 season will mark Peter Zurn's first season as an assistant coach at Carleton. No stranger to the Minnesota basketball scene Zurn spent five years as an assistant coach at Macalester College from 2013-2018, and currently serves as the assistant director for the Minnesota Fury club basketball program. During his 10 years involved with the Fury, Zurn has coached numerous men's basketball student-athletes who have gone on to compete at the NCAA Division I, II and III levels.
A native of Champlin, Minn., Zurn graduated from Minnesota State-Mankato with a bachelor of science in secondary social studies education and a minor in history. He currently teaches at AFSA high school in Saint Paul, and resides in Burnsville with his wife Andrea and children Hadley and Hudson.
