INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
At Oracle, I worked to enhance replication and copy service in OCI Object Storage through emitting per customer metrics to aid developers in identifying causes of backlogs, ensuring transparency, and aiding client conversations. Through this experience I got real world software engineering experience. At Frontage Labs, I created a Python algorithm to automate tracking of inventory data for biological instruments to reduce wasted materials by only reordering items that were low in stock. This allowed me to apply learning to workplace and develop key real world applicable skills that are not taught in a classroom.
