INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
I worked as a Congressional Intern with Rep. Debbie Dingell’s DC office. During my internship I responded to letters and concerns raised by constituents, attended congressional briefings and hearings and wrote memos for them, worked on various projects for the legislative staff, gathered pertinent news for the congresswoman, attended staff meetings, etc...

I learned a great deal about a field i'm interested in, to have a sound understanding of the laws that govern our nation, it's important to have a solid comprehension of how these laws came and will come into being, my internship gave me a first hand, insider look on the federal legislative process and I have learned so much about so many different subjects, laws and procedures.
