Carleton Knights

Jay Schoenebeck joined the Knights as an offensive assistant prior to the 2021 season. He previously spent 29 years coaching college football, including 15 seasons (1994-2008) as head coach at his alma mater, Gustavus Adolphus College, where he was an All-American running back. In addition to two stints as an assistant at Gustavus, he also coached at the NCAA Division I and II levels with stops at University of Wisconsin (1986-87) and South Dakota State (1991-93), respectively.
