Bob Davies was added to the Carleton coaching staff in the spring of 2020 to serve as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. In 2022, he guided an offensive unit that scored a team-record 36.3 points per game, passed for 2,528 yards (the fifth-highest total in team history), and accumulated 1,525 rushing yards (the program's highest total since 2015.) He brings to the Knights experience coaching at all three NCAA divisions. Davies graduated from Monmouth University (D-I) in 2017, where he was a backup quarterback and also served as an operations assistant for the Hawks. He spent the 2017 season assisting with the offensive line and video coordination at Division I Princeton University, before taking a job working with quarterbacks at St. Lawrence University (D-III). During the 2018 campaign, his players set a new school single-season record for passing yards. He moved on to Franklin Pierce University (D-II) in 2019 and served as the Ravens’ offensive coordinator as well as the positional coach for the team's offensive backfield.
