I wanted to be a part of a small school with many people from diverse backgrounds and culture. I also felt it was the best fit to push me both academically and athletically.

INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
I worked as a full time lab member of the Someya Lab in Department of Physiology and Aging in the College of Medicine at the University of Florida. I gained skills in both biomedical and clinical research, which taught me crucial skills necessary for research and allowed me to see what it was like to be a full time researcher.
