OFF-CAMPUS STUDY PROGRAM(S) PARTICIPATED IN AT CARLETON:
Oaxaca, Mexico (non-Carleton program) - It was an amazing experience to stay in another country for two months. The program improved my Spanish and aligned with my academic interests (literature, history, political science). I also found a team to play with while I was there, which was a great way to meet new people and improve my language and soccer skills.
  
INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
Independent Research - I got funding to go to Oxford and Ireland to study the manuscripts of the poet Gerard Manley Hopkins. Unfortunately, it was put on hold due to COVID.
