Studying the economics of sports and teaching American sports to elementary students in London and Seville enhanced my love for sports and the nature of competition.
INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
United States House of Representatives and Arthur Trading Co. While interning for Congress I was responsible for drafting briefs and memos for the congressman, analyzing legislation, handling constituent correspondence and casework with federal agencies. While interning for Arthur Trading, I was responsible for maintaining commodity-specific fundamental research, monitoring local cash markets to identify financial trading opportunities, developing various presentations on trading opportunities for the team, and more. I also got the opportunity to travel to seven states throughout the Midwest to crop tour and learn more about futures and options trading.
