I CHOSE TO COME TO CARLETON BECAUSE…
I chose to come to Carleton to receive high quality education and play football.

INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
At Straight Down Clothing, I implemented new features on software. At Color Communications, I did full stack development digitalizing labor reports, optimizing the front end to be user friendly, and securing the back end database. Additionally, I did wiring for setting up a new security system. At BIM Design, I worked on different projects using C# and ASP.NET and did research. Through these internships, I was able to experience what the environment of a real workplace was like and was able to learn different programming languages through having to design projects that were not fully laid out; this required a lot of critical thinking.
