It was truly the best ten weeks of my life. I got to visit so many places I have never been and may not have gotten to see otherwise, and I became close with a lot of the Carleton students on the trip.

The first one was a basic science research internship in a metabolic biology lab. I learned about research and completed simple lab jobs. The second was a pre-med mentorship where I helped design educational summer camp programs for disadvantaged students and worked with them occasionally over the summer.
