NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Carleton College women's tennis remains atop the MIAC standings after posting a convicting 7-0 victory over crosstown rival St. Olaf College.

Ryann Witter,
Algara Dineva, and
Gabriela Cilella all won in both singles and doubles action as the Knights (11-4, 7-0 MIAC) snapped the Oles' (9-5, 2-4 MIAC) five-match win streak.
Kat Smiricinschi and Dineva got Carleton started with a 6-1 victory at No. 3 doubles. Marks and Witter came from behind to win atop the flight with a 6-3 result. Pickens and Cilella completed the doubles sweep with a 7-6 (7-4) triumph at the second slot.
The Knights posted straight-set victories at No. 2 through No. 6 singles, dropping a total of only two games. Pickens, Witter, and Cilella prevailed 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2, No. 3, and No. 6 singles, respectively, while
Peggy Fu and Dineva were nearly as efficient, posting 6-0, 6-0 wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles.
Marks dropped the first set at No. 1 singles but found her groove and secured a 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-4) result to complete the singles sweep.
