NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Carleton College raced out to an early lead, but No. 25-ranked Concordia College-Moorhead came racing back to claim a 78-50 victory on the road.
Carleton (5-7, 2-3 MIAC) jumped out to a 9-0 advantage, but Concordia (11-1, 5-0 MIAC) answered with a 15-2 run and did not trail the rest of the way in earning its seventh consecutive win.
Taylor Dente hit a floater in the lane to pull the Knights within 21-18 early in the second quarter, but the visitors closed the period with a 19-5 burst and took a 40-23 advantage into intermission. Concordia led by at least 13 points the rest of the way.
Audrey Whitney led the Knights with 19 points, her highest output since mid-November, and contributed three rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

Addy Huss both chipped in 11 points for Carleton, with the former grabbing six rebounds and the latter contributing five assists.
Molly Musland paced Concordia with 24 points as she went 8-of-12 from 3-point range, helping the Cobbers shoot 43.3 percent (13-of-30) from beyond the arc. Maya Metcalf tallied 17 points but fell one rebound shy of a double-double.
Concordia corralled 11 offensive rebounds, leading to a 21-2 edge in second-chance points. The Cobbers had nine steals and owned a 16-4 advantage in points off turnovers.
Concordia shot 46.2 percent overall and was 5-of-6 (83.3 percent) at the charity stripe. Carleton shot 39.2 percent on the night, including 5-of-13 (31.3 percent) from beyond the arc. The Knights were 5-of-7 (71.4 percent) at the free-throw line.
