Four Carleton teams found in latest national rankings

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Four Carleton College spring sports are featured in the latest national ranks, with two others listed in the regional rankings.
 
Men's Golf is placed at No. 24 in the most recent Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll, and at No. 28 in the Clippd D-III rankings. They are right behind No. 22/26 Bethel for tops among MIAC squads. Individually, Ryan Choi is ranked No. 49 by Clippd, making him the second-highest ranked MIAC player on the national list.
 
Women's Golf is the No. 28 team in the Clippd rankings, and is the second-highest squad in the 'receiving votes' category of the Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll. That places them second among conference squads behind No. 10 /10 St. Catherine University.
 
Men's Tennis has earned a No. 33 spot in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association national rankings, one spot ahead of MIAC powerhouse Gustavus Adolphus. The Knights are also No. 7 in the Central Region ITA roll.
 
Women's Tennis slots in at No. 38 in the ITA national rankings, and match the men in the Central Region ranking with a No. 7 spot. Amelia Asfaw is the No. 8-ranked singles player in the region, and Asfaw and Mariam Nechiporuk come in as the No. 7 doubles team on the regional list. All of those placings are second among MIAC programs and individuals.
 
Women's Track and Field can be found at No. 10 in the USTFCCCA North Region rankings, while Men's Track and Field is ranked No. 13 in the region.
