Addy Huss and
Liesl McCallum paced the Knights (0-1) with 14 points apiece. The former collected a career-best 15 rebounds to notch her fifth career double-double.

Dente was a career-best 3-of-3 from beyond the arc. One of her triples came with 8:51 left before intermission and gave Carleton its biggest lead of the day at 18-12. Eventually, UW-Superior (1-1) took a 26-27 lead into the break.

The Yellowjackets built a 42-32 advantage with 90 seconds remaining in the third quarter. The Knights whittled away at the deficit and pulled to with 51-49 with 0:06 remaining in the contest. UWS was fouled and went 1-of-2 at the charity stripe, but a contested game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer by Huss was off the mark.

The Knights limited UW-Superior to 33 percent shooting overall and only 4-of-22 from long range. Carleton shot 28.6 overall and was 3-of-14 (21.4 percent) from three-point range.

Charlotte Ferstl paced the visitors with a game-high 16 points to go along with nine rebounds.
