NORTHFIELD – A quartet of Carleton College programs continue to be found inside the top 30 for their respective sports.
Women's Cross Country is No. 10 in the most recent U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national rankings. The Knights hold down the top spot in the North Region. Meanwhile, FloTrack has Carleton at No. 17 in its most recent rankings, with Hannah Preisser, Sophie McManus, and Aliya Larsen listed at No. 3, No. 25, and No. 44, respectively, in its individual rankings.
Men's Golf continues to inch its way up the NCAA rankings on Scoreboard powered by Clippd. Two weeks ago, the Knights were No. 19. Last week, they came in at No. 18 and are now listed at No. 17. Ryan Choi is listed at No. 46 in the individual rankings. Meanwhile, the mst recent Bushnell/Golfweek rankings list Carleton at No. 23.
Women's Soccer is now listed at No. 24 in the NCAA Power Index (NPI) used to select at-large berth to the NCAA Championships. After receiving votes 6 of the last 7 weeks in the United Soccer Coaches' national poll, the Knights made their season debut in the Top 25 as they appear at No. 25 in this week's listing. This is the first time that Carleton has been nationally ranked by United Soccer Coaches since landing at No. 24 in the first regular-season poll during the 2018 campaign.
Women's Golf also moved up in the NCAA rankings and is now No. 27 in the nation. The Knights are the top team listed under "receiving votes" in the most recent WGCA coaches top-25 poll. Carter Sichol improved to No. 50 in the individual rankings.
